Hello everyone and welcome back to the Better Than A Pill podcast. I'm Cari Vann and I'm so grateful again to be here with you today. And today we're going to be getting a little bit more into the Complete Well Body Method that I've created. And I want to start off by saying that moving more and being physically active is key to our longevity and being able to do the things you enjoy, whether it's golfing,  spending time with your kids, grandkids, traveling.

If you don't have your health and vibrancy, even if you have all of the money you need, save for retirement and all the time in the world, enjoying these moments will prove to be challenging.  You may realize the importance of your body and how important it is to take care of it. You might even have a high level of self discipline, but it's easy to listen to the voices in your head and skip the things you need to do without someone holding you accountable.

You may also be at the point in your life where you desire to move more, but due to past physical challenges, surgery, pain, or injury, you just don't want to hurt yourself while exercising. You may realize that if you do not do something now, Things can get worse, especially as you get older.  The conventional approach to pain relief and injury prevention is treatment that only focuses on one part of the body.

This occurs, as I mentioned, when working with just a physical therapist, chiropractor, or massage therapist. The shortfall of this is that it neglects the rest of your body, unlike my holistic approach where we also work on improving your overall health.  The consequence to this is that it can lead to injury or reinjury or continued discomfort or pain because there's no focus on maintaining the body as a whole.

Everything is connected and it's key that our bodies and muscles are working together in harmony.  But instead, if you learn how to exercise and integrate the five pillars of pain free movement into your life, you will not only heal your pain and prevent injuries, but also improve your total wellbeing.

And this will be far more effective and provide longer lasting results.  The three things you need to be looking for in a total wellness approach are Someone that really knows their stuff, someone with years of hands on experience, as well as the necessary degrees and education and training in various modalities, such as restorative work and therapeutic Pilates.

You need someone who can help make it easy for you to create habits that you need to experience whole body wellness for your specific body type. as well as to prevent injury and relieve pain and discomfort into your life in a convenient way so that you can do these things at home when you travel without having to waste time driving over town to multiple locations.

You need someone who will help keep you on track, make sure your health and well being does not get pushed to the back burner. This way you can focus on what's important and succeed in adopting new healthy habits that really help you to take care of yourself. And this is why I created the complete well body method that I'm so passionate about.

It's not just something that I talk about. It's a way of life for me and I've combined multiple areas of my expertise into one approach. So you get a well rounded experience.  The complete well body method is a plan for life. It's an integrated approach that blends therapeutic movement, exercise, and a deep understanding of how your body's connected,  offering the most effective long term solutions for pain relief and injury prevention.

It's like working with four practitioners in one. You get an expert wellness coach, a rehab expert, an expert personal trainer, and an expert Pilates teacher. This means that instead of spending time and money seeking different practitioners regularly or spending time going to the pharmacy to pick up medications,  you now have all the precious time back in your week and you can do more meaningful things.

The main focus of the program is to help you develop the necessary habits for pain free movement, pain relief, and injury prevention. And at the same time, I support you in improving your overall health and wellness in a holistic manner.  It is designed so that you can do the program anywhere. It's easy.

It's convenient. It can be done at home or incorporated into your life as you travel, as well as if you're busy.  I believe that no matter what the occasion, we still need to take care of our mind and bodies and make our health and wellness a priority.  It brings me great joy when I hear my clients say, I now have an outlet to release all the stress and anxiety.

I feel more relaxed. I'm calmer. I've become more productive. I'm able to get a lot more done. I feel more confident. I'm getting back to the activities I enjoy. I now listen to my body and I know it much better than I used to.  All of these things are possible and you can totally change your life. And I'm grateful to witness these changes all of the time.

One of my clients that comes to mind, she's actually been on the podcast is Gloria. When she first started working with me, she had a bulging disc and was on the cusp of having surgery. She started the program and her back pain went away really fast and it stayed away after months of struggling with pain.

Gloria not only got better mobility, she also lost weight. She was able to do the activities she loved, like walking and being in the water again. And she now travels extensively and can take the program with her. Her anxious mind has also quieted down.  So If you are interested to learn specifically how the complete body method could benefit you and your unique needs, the first step I take with everyone I work with is a consultation.

This helps me understand your individual needs, whether it's for injury prevention or addressing specific discomforts you experience while moving or exercising. It allows me to gain more insight into your situation and determine if you might be a good candidate for the complete well body method. You can reach out directly to support a movement craft.com.
